XYZ Studios was founded in 2000.

We retired operations in 2020.

Over that time, the studio grew from an unknown
upstart to a premiere hot house for exquisite visual
storytelling. It worked internationally more than any
other studio in Melbourne, with awards recognition
counting well into the hundreds from top industry
bodies, globally.

Ultimately, XYZ outlasted all Melbourne animation
houses in years of operation.

XYZ was always about bringing together visual
storytellers to hone their craft in the field of
commercial animation, enabling its artists to fund
their own ventures.

And to that end, XYZ fulfilled its mission: sprouting
Crayon, Wheelbarrow, Zoox & HYPR.
